so i've decided i want to become a web-designer. web-designing, yoga teaching, social worker, or something like that. i have been surfing around design blogs and things like that thinking about how i want my site (http://www.sweetcaireen.com) to look, and i realized how much i wish i could just make my own. it brought me back to my 12-year old days of my good-old geocities page, where i painstakingly entrered html code to make the title rainbow-coloured. and flashing! i still know a lot of html code, so i'm not starting totally from scratch if i want to learn a few things about web-design. well... kind of. i have no knowledge of any webdesign programs, like dreamweaver and others (do people still use dreamweaver?) and really, what better a time in my life? my roommate is a web-designer (he is the one working on my page) so i have a live, captive teacher, and i'm not in university now so i have no other homework. but maybe i'm so excited about this cause i'm sick and have no energy to go out or work so i'm looking for something other than watching bachelor re-runs and surfing youtube to do.
